Picking it up which is good but still way off record pace.
Coverage is still less than ideal.
15 K
Men: 44:43
Women: 50:02
This coverage is awful I have hardly seen any of the race.
Women's leaders Agnes Barsosio, Mamitu Daska, Meselech Melkamu, Bezunesh Bekele und Georgina Rono pass 15k in 50:02 (sub 2:21 pace).
Patrick Makau doesn't look good. He seems to have problems with his right leg.
20k in 59:35 (15:05 - 14:51 - 14:47 - 14:52)

Enough of the German chick, show the race!
As a sidenote, Yemane Tsegay lost contact to the lead group after 10k. AT 20k, he's already 1:23 behind.
Makau can't hold the lead group anymore.
Half in 1:02:52

Makau's fighting his way back to the leaders. His running style doesn't look very smooth.
Women - half in 1:10:25, group of five
Men - 25K: 1:14:31, group of nine, without Makau
This coverage is so bad. What the hell does an airplane landing have anything to do with a marathon?
At 25k, Makau is still hanging on. He's in a group of five with a small gap opening behind.
Correction: Makau is still in the group
Top Five:
Henry Kiplagat
Bazu Worku
Victor Kipchirchir
Deressa Chimsa
Patrick Makau
Is there an elite race even going on? It just seems to be coverage of a load of fun runners doing various random things.
Women - 25K: 1:23:23
+1.
I have still to see any of the top women runners, they are covering "Lisa" like as if she is on pace to break Paula's WR. The 5km updates give more info compared to Live coverage.
But...at least there is coverage :)
Men - 30K: 1:29:28
