Portland didn't go as well as I thought, never would have predicted Wisconsin 17th, will they go unranked next polls, any other shocks?

Or the first 3 splits were long. Hard time believing they went out in 4:54 first mile
Ahhh, Lutz was 12th, not 1st, check results.

Yes. But believe whatever you want.
It first became a known issue and discussed in 2010 when Cabral and Bayer went 15:01 through 5K and finished in 23:29. They were good then, but not that good.
Here is the Men's video. Women's on the way.
more interested if at least the course was the same to compare times. Apples to apples!

It's 14th place in the WOMENS race...just make something up and move on to getting the men's results done
Here is the Women's video. Like the Men's, it's still processing and the quality will get better.

They did go out at a modest pace and were not that fast at the mile (which is the high point on the course, as well with the course climbing 90 feet between about 850m and 1650). The pace picked up through the race and a number of people when from near the front to pretty far back. Here is just a sampling of guys who were not only near the front at the mile but at 3km.

The course is about 75 meters long, so 14 seconds at 5:00/mile pace.
Anyone else find Arizona's depth hilarious? They are basically scoring three and still wind up with a whopping 600 points.

The depth in the NCAA blows my f*cking mind. You gotta run 25 flat just to get into the top 200. Crazy stuff.
