Very impressive. More here:

And he only picked up cycling in 1978. Imagine if he had the advantage of being Kenyan and training since infancy.

This.
imagine how well he could have done if his saddle height were correct
Anyone who doesnt think this is AMAZING, is an idiot. Think of the last 100 year old person you saw who could:
1) have a discussion
2) walk
3) had vision enough to see a track
4) wasn't dead
5) rode a bicycle for 4+ hours
UNREAL

In what way is a 100 year old man being able to do 4 + hours of exercise not impressive?

I am assuming it was on one of these

Noticed that too. My guess is that his back can't handle being bent over anymore as his stem is already pretty generous. My back and neck get to me after only a 2-3 hour ride and I'm 24...

Also I wonder if being closer to the ground and the added sense of security/ability to put foot down easier makes up for, to him, the decreased efficiency of a lower saddle.
Nonetheless, whatever he's doing, he's doing it well. Would that I'm that mobile when I'm his age!
Amazing accomplishment! Its to bad so many people are critical....They most likely wont be around at 100 but cant put that into perspective....So many angry, nasty, negative posts on every topic....I fear for America's future!
The dude must dominate his age group.
