We get it, you are trolling and will knock off a few seconds every day and be a sub 4 miler in no time.
And now that I have exposed you, you will likely throw in some slower times to prove me wrong, but your general trend will still be faster.
This thread sucks now. It is the op's fault for not registering his username.
No, as I said before-a once a week beer mile would make this interesting.
why did u go out so hard! U tied up big time 78??

This would be way better if it was run every 3 days or so. The body can't handle this type of effort physically and mentally on a daily basis.
If this were done every 3 days, it would be a solid plan.
Some of you are complete idiots. He doesn't want a solid plan or your advice on a plan. He wants (if not a troll) to find out what will happen if he runs a hard mile every day. Please stop suggesting alternative plans.
So the plan lasted 4 days.
When I was in 10th grade, a senior said a good way to get faster was to run an all out mile every day, as fast as you could. The only problem was that it would make you crazy.
I never tried it, but I broke his record by quite a ways.
You can't expect a guy without the balls to register a user name to run a mile more than four days in a row.
OP, what's the conclusion? Did you benefit from your four daily miles? Should others imitate you in an attempt to improve their fitness?
that's it??? Over?
Unfortunately, someone hijacked my original name (run to the limit) because I didn't register it, and began posting fake results, then another guy (ran to the limit) did same.
I am still training this way, and may post synopsis weekly, but don't feel like dealing with the trolls who screwed up the thread. Oh well, should have registered the name. I'll chime in later, now that it has died down.
Well I think we all think you (run to the limit (real)) are the real one, so if you registered that name, then it should be all good now.
I’ve thought about training somewhat similar to this before, so I’m interested to see how you go!

Yeah, because registering a user name REALLY takes balls! Man, that is a tough thing to do. You must be more fit than some crossfit gayboy to have balls big enough to even THINK about registering a username. That is bad mofo stuff there! Watch out.
start a new thread and post the times from the previous days
make sure you use a registered name this time around!
f'cking trolls...

Apparently that's the case, as he hasn't done it yet and either have you.
Guys you have requested that the original author of this thread give a response.
Well he didn't.
Fortunately for you all, I have. I ran the hardest mile I could for 3 months straight, 5 days a week.
The results:
I have improved in my mile time by 2 minutes and 30 seconds.
Take note that my previous mile time was 7:33. (I know this is slow so pls stfu. I tried my best. This is my easy road run pace today.)

I am testing my limits. The plan: run an all out mile until my legs tie up, and I collapse. Trying to see how far I can last, and how many days in a row I can maintain this plan before something makes me stop. Also, once I get the appropriate data, I'll take a few days off, and see what I can do after the break, then resume typical training, and see if this has any long lasting benefit or detriment. Baseline mile time: 4:36. Wish me luck.
I did this back when I was 13 or 14 for about a week. It didn't go very well.
