Scorned lover...not exactly credible.
The usada promised not to release their damning evidence substantiating rumors of Sheryl's regular drugging and drinking until the sun came up. They have footage from a camera on Santa Monica Blvd. Just another case of one dopper selling out another.
Nothing to see here.
Sheryl Crow provided information last year to federal investigators looking into the doping programs that powered her former fiancé’s Tour de France teams.
It's unknown exactly what information she provided.
The fed's case was sent to a grand jury that abruptly ended its inquiry in February when the U.S. Attorney’s office in Los Angeles announced it had suspended the case without filing charges.
Also:
“I don’t think the French people are on a mission to strip him of his integrity,” Crow said. “It’s just a handful of people pursuing that theory, and it’s tiresome and a nuisance, and it will eventually end, I hope.”
Didn't he dump her when she was going through chemo? I hope she buries him.
She didn't bury him.
He dumped her two weeks before she learned she had cancer.

Lance has a pattern of burning his bridges with old lovers, friends, employees, and teammates. He is the common denominator in these strained relationships.
Lance's team can't discredit every witness for being on bad terms with Lance when Lance goes out of his way to be on bad terms with everyone he becomes close to.
LA may be a huge D-B, but he's no Newt G.

If twenty people say the sky is blue, it just might be blue.
If twenty people say Lance is an a$$hole, he just might be an a$$hole.

In the case of Sheryl Crow, she doesn't need to be discredited. She is not a witness the USADA would want to use against Armstrong.
The government dropped the case against Armstrong. Whatever Ms. Crow told, willingly, in testimony was not good enough to keep the case open.
Kristin Armstrong (not the one that writes for Runner's World) , his wife from 1997 to 2003 would be the ultimate witness.
She moved to France and gave up her career to become a stay at home Mom. 6 years later he abandoned her and their 3 kids. Just 2 years later he was engaged to Sheryl Crow.

Different case. Feds weren't trying to charge Lance with doping.
She is not a witness the USADA would want to use against Armstrong.
Do you actually believe Sheryl Crow would willing tell government investigators one thing, and the USADA attorneys the opposite?
She has nothing to say that would help the USADA.
Kristin Armstrong is also not a good witness to support the USADA claims against Lance.
"Floyd Landis says the first time he was given stamina-building EPO it was in full view of Armstrong's ex-wife, Kristin. Sports Illustrated says Kristin Armstrong said in an e-mail that she doesn't remember such an incident and that she hasn't been contacted by federal officials."
Lance's ex IS the Kristin Armstrong that writes for Runners World. [The unrelated Kristin Armstrong is, coincidentally, the female Gold Medal bike racer.]

Two years later isn't "just". That's legitimatelly long enough to fall in love with another person

How do you know what she told federal investigators? I would suspect that Ms. Crow wouldn't lie under oath. It's not looking good for Lance.

Odd that would ask me how I would know, and you make a statement like you have first hand knowledge.
You also ignored:
"Floyd Landis says the first time he was given stamina-building EPO it was in full view of Armstrong's ex-wife, Kristin. Sports Illustrated says Kristin Armstrong said in an e-mail that she doesn't remember such an incident and that she hasn't been contacted by federal officials."
http://content.usatoday.com/communities/gameon/post/2010/05/si-report-lance-armstrong-may-face-federal-probe---/1I believe I wrote, "I would suspect..." - doesn't sound like I'm implying first hand knowledge.
The thread is bout Crow, not his ex-wife, but the SI statement was not made under oath. In the end, I wouldn't be surprised if we find out that both Crow and Kristin Armstrong gave testimony to the USADA. No first hand knowledge by the way, just a hunch.
