McNamara, Miller, and See finished 7, 8, 9 at the Olympic trials 1500. Since the Olympic trials was the united states championship this year, one could propose a good argument that they are the 7th, 8th, and 9th best 1500/milers in the United States. Then throw in Acosta who has a 3:53 mile pr and this race has a group of the best B teamers our country has to offer.
I don't know what the original posters' definition of C team is but my definition of B team are guys who consistently make championship finals (USA, NCAAs) and finish well in elite races but aren't necessarily the guys winning but place in the 3rd-7th area.
No they aren't Olympians, but after Manzano, Centrowitz, Lomong, and Wheating these guys mentioned along with Bayer, Torrence, Leer, Andrews, Ulrey? and German? are the best 1500/milers in the United States.

You do realize that Anderson just got the 'A' in the 1,500.
Before you post ignorant things, please realize these are real people you are writing about.
You seemingly have two options.
1) Either learn about the sports and get some facts
2) Get a life so you don't needlessly need to tear down others.
you would do well to print this out and tape it on top of your keyboard so you can give it a thorough read through every time you think about posting something on this site again.
Also agree, what a hypocritical stance you've taken Rojo.
Women wins masters title out right.

5610 2 William Zink, 51 4:56.4
5587 3 Eric Shafer, 43 4:57.4
5520 4 Glenn Edwards, 42 4:57.9
5579 5 1 Hans Rottmann, 44 5:00.1
5608 6 1 Dominic Wyzomirski, 52 5:11.5
5536 7 2 David Hackworth, 43 5:13.4
5566 8 3 Bob Marinelli, 43 5:14.7
5560 9 2 Robert Liebers, 54 5:16.5
5529 10 3 Phil Gibbons, 51 5:22.2
I would say that our A Team is those who made the Olympic team as they are the ones on he team. B Team would be those who finished 4th, 5th and 6th. So it seems fair that those who finished 7th, 8th and 9th would be our C Team. Nothing wrong with being a C Teamr though!

Would have been nice to see Uceny at least get up and try in the Olympics instead of pound the track and be angry.
You're right and I'm sure if she had it to do over again she would have fought that last 400m to the end...but she responded differently. Cheers!

well.. you have to consider that this happened to her last year also, that it was very abrupt, and that she was running most of the race in lane two to avoid traffic. I think she was just so violently pissed off that she couldn't think for a few seconds, and then it was too late. Morgan Uceny doesn't have to apologize to me. She's a warrior and she's proved it many times.
