Assuming he has a spot on both teams locked up then who will join him? Derrick?Dunbar?

Solinsky, Ritz if he's healthy. Teg will be done. Lomong in the 5k again. Derrick in the 10k. Guys like Bumbi, Heath, etc will probably need help with dudes being injured or otherwise not prepared to run fast to make it. Maybe they should take a page out of Jager's book and try the steeple.
Should be a damn good team.
Jager might run the 5k.
Rupp may not even run the 5K. May be a marathon/10K type situation. Only time will tel.

Puskedra in the 10k for 2020? He'll have long since moved to the roads. Look for him in the mary in 2016.
5000: Jager, Bumbi, Torrence
10,000: Derrick, Hill, Fernandez

I think Bumbi is going to be the guy who has a breakthrough in the next couple of years.

why would Ryan Pickering finish in the top 4 of any trials race?

I know you're just kidding but in 2020, as in other Olympic years, there should be some folks on the team who are between 22 and 24 years old. These folks today are between 14 and 16 years old. Good luck identifying them.
Jacob Burcham.
I think it will be very difficult to predict who will make each team in 2016. 4 years ago nobody would have thought Jager and Cabral would have been our top steeplers. 4 years is a lot of time in the running world. A lot can change.

I'm sorry, but I sincerely hope not. Bumbi still has a lot of growing up left to do before I would feel comfortable watching him wear a USA singlet at the Olympic Games.
Is Bumbi talented? Yes, absolutely... there's no doubt about that. But having him on the Olympic track team would be equally as unwise as when we had Allen Iverson and Stephon Marbury on the Olympic basketball team. Their immaturity and unprofessional attitude easily overshadowed their abilities.
Burcham in the 5000
Rupp wont make the 2016 team.
