I don't need your stats roy. I know who they both are. How many outdoor championshipds does she have? I'm not knocking her, but it was a fair comparison.

Not hard to figure out why Lolo can't get a real boyfriend.
So when the US hurdles silver and bronze are racing in Stockholm, where will Lolo be? Whining to the media as if she actually matters.
... says the anonymous message board guy. Lolo Jones has WC medals. Lolo Jones has made two consecutive Olympic finals. Lolo Jones's 4th place is better than the average of Rupp's 2nd (awesome race) and 7th. Here's a pop quiz.
1. Fill in the blank.
"Coach D has accomplished ____________, _____________ and
____________. Given these towering accomplishments, we all agree that he should feel free to crap on Olympic finalists for accepting invitations for inteiews."
Call back under your rock before I curse you for alllwayyyyssss and eterrrrnitttyyyy.
Did anyone actually watch the PTI clip? She made some decent points about track popularity, but did you look at her cheeks? She's supposedly getting attention with her looks? I thought she was chewing on the set.
Coach D has the same number of WC medals as Lolo unless I'm miscounting something.
I often see PTI. I somehow missed this one. Well, it sounds like they've become part of the problem. Kellie Wells is a good interview.
The Anna kournikova comparison is meant at an insult, but if Lolo actually knew anything about Anna she'd realize it was a valid comparison. Kournikova was actually a huge talent, and made a lot of money because she was hot, but had a career curtailed by injury and choked in her chances to win a significant singles title. It's become a common misconception that she actually wasn't any good, but no. 8 in the world in singles, no. 1 in doubles, semis at Wimbledon at age 16 and multiple major doubles titles certainly stands up well in comparison to anything Lolo has done.

This needs to be repeated.
People are surprised when i point out that AK was a top 10 ranked player.
The real comparison that I don't like is sharipova to kournikova in the looks department. Not even in the same league!

Medal or no medal, she's still HOT.
So HOT.
The thing that jumped out at me was the day after the U.S. trials. The news mentioned two things. 1. Eaton break WR in decathlon, and 2. Lolo comes in 3rd and makes U.S. team. I was struck how the news did not even mention the two other hurdlers who also qualified in the same event as Lolo. Then people wonder why Harper and Wells were a bit miffed. IMO, I was impressed with how classy they were not being visibly upset with the continued slights.
I guess it's ok for Harper and Wells to have been a bit miffed, but "classy" isn't how I would describe their reactions. After the US trials, they took the low road all the way, including their Today show appearance.
Currently, the one person who absolutely should be pissed off is Pearson - the gold medallist is almost forgotten because of the US hurdlers catfight. How many gold medals did Harper and Wells win in London again?

Kournikova was way hotter in her day.
I don't lust after bitchy virgins.

Please link us to this story that mentions Eaton, Lolo, and no one else. Otherwise people will think you're just making up stuff.

How classy they were being? You didn't watch very much of the Olympics did you?
Harper isn't getting media attention because she is a whiny BITCH. She obviously does not know how to get or handle media attention and holds it against Lolo.
Her overhyped second place celebration was about the most disgusting thing I saw at the Olympics. She was celebrating more than the gold medalist. It was very obvious she only ran to beat Lolo and was not racing for gold. I hope she quickly fades from the sport as T&F doesn't need people like her.
Troll moar! Dawn Harper's race was amazing. You couldn't ask for more in a final than what we had in the 100m hurdles. The top 4 all ran amazingly well on the right day.
Dawn ran only to beat Lolo. Why else would the defending Olympic gold medalist celebrate in such an 'over the top' fashion?
Lolo was in her head and Dawn wasn't racing to win.
Lolo would arguably be less famous had she not fallen on the last hurdle in Beijing and won Gold. The fall transformed her into an unforgettable/Pity-able figure in a relatively forgettable event/sport, something for the masses to latch on to and for the press and pre-Olympic hype-masters to milk. She has drawn attention subsequently for her comments on her virginity and now this clash with the the medal winners in London. As she said in her interview, anything that draws attention to the sport is a good thing. Sadly, falling in an Olympic final is more interesting to the public than bronze, silver or at times even Gold.

There is no link. It was NBC Sports, HLN, CNN, etc. the morning after (it was a Sunday morning) that all did this. I'm sure most on this forum saw what I am talking about.
So she is a whiny bitch cause she admitted her feelings were hurt that her accomplisments were being ignored while someone else behind her was being celebrated. Doesn't sound like a whiny reaction but instead a rational reaction. As far as you not liking her celebrating a silver medal, why was it so great to see Lolo celebrate like crazy when she finished #3 in the trials. I know, yeah that's different. I guess Harper must live up to higher standards than Lolo for some people and even then they won't like her cause she doesn't have the right look.
If blame needs to be assigned (as Harper has done), one must ask themself, is it Lolo's fault or society's fault?
Life is not fair and the society that we exist in does not care/know enough to make it otherwise.
This is not specific to Lolo or the sport of track and field and it is very likely that you are complicant in society's behaviour if not propagate.
