It isn't so much that I win as that you lose.

Feel free to point out where I said (a) I was a GF fan or (b) GF is more talented than GR.

While you're at it you might want to see about getting an IQ that will allow you to understand what you are reading.

What group does one join, if you are an elite 1500m runner?

Is he racing soon? I would think the smart thing would be to try to get a solid 9 months of training in before racing. If he had injury-free mileage starting in May, that would put him in a good position to do something cool at the World XC Championships perhaps. He always said he loved XC the most.

While he was usually injured during track rather than XC, it seems his summer training was usually interrupted with some injury issues that prevented him from getting the mileage he needed, which kept any top 3 finishes out of reach. It would be interesting to see what he can really do in his favorite sport, then go for a big 5,000 PR in spring and get on the World Championships team. Best of luck to him.
