Suarez had a PR from 3 or 4 seasons ago. He has been in the mid 4:20s for two years.
Almost looked like Eaton paced Hardee through the 200m to get him on a proper pace for 4:40 and then just waltzed around the track.
Also team is important to him. Maybe wanted to help his guy get the silver instead of going after a number. Eaton will be back in four years and will have that number to shoot for now. Sometimes you need an external goal going forward.
Also a few props to Hardee. The guy is gutsy and really is a class act, actually they all are and thats why they are so fun to coach. Great hurdles, jav and 1500. At the trials he looked 10lbs heavier and looked sluggish. Obviously he trained through the trials. Credit him and his coach for a perfect peak. Well done
