kenya is in a spot of trouble here - looks like they will win only m800, m1500 and w marathon - severely disappointing to them.
but who the heck knows.

Just cracked open another beer. I'm going back to page one and reading through every post.
I'm not a Brit, I'm not American and I certainly not Ethiopian. My country didn't even have anyone in the race but that was just AMAZING.
Galen Rupp is the White Shadow of distance running.

Only last names required on Jeopardy. Give Crazy Guy his prize.
Has Crazy Guy made his picks for the 5k yet?
WAHOO CRAZY GUY!!!!!
What a FANTASTIC race!!!!!!
That race was so exciting. I had no idea what anyone was thinking tactically except for Mo and Galen. Everyone seemed nervous. The pacing was bizarre. Runners would surge into the lead and then seem confused about what they should do with it. The Eritreans were like a tag team for chaos. Then the Kenyan dude went down, everyone seemed to be punching Mo whenever they could, I couldn't figure out what was going on with the Bekeles, and Ritz/Levins were kinda hanging on for dear life at the back. They kept lapping that dude in blue who was basically setting picks.
So much was going on at once. Great race to watch and obviously I'm thrilled about the results.
Where's that friggin black page for Rupp. Brojos, we are waiting!
A few (well, maybe several) laps from the finish, they were running 64s and Rupp, I swear, just looked like he was out for a run. He was *so easy* at that pace. He looked to be working less hard than every other man in the lead group. At that point I was thinking, "OMG this MF is gonna win it all!"
I see you're all with me now. ;-)
Yes KB was not himself, He looked terrible almost the whole way. He was positioning well but just did not have it at all. His country man Gebreirian tried to get the two brothers go but they just did just did not have it.
Ectatic for Mo and Rupp. The rest of the field seemed to stage fright like Coes 800 in Moscow. WooHoo!
