Oh shit. Wrong Bekele.
Oh shit. Wrong Bekele.
I'll be interested to see whether one of Rupp or Farah gets busted.
Levins finished 11th - 27:40
Incredible finish! For a second, it looked like Rupp might have enough to take Farah.
What the hell happened to the Kenyans? That insane selection system they have just had another epic fail.
How did Ritz, Teg, and Levins do?
i'm about to go out and have the best run of my life. way to go GALEN "MF" RUPP!!!!!!!!!
I believe Bekele is the first to win three 10,000m medals.

they might have used some supplements, but no illegal drugs.
Loved that the slow mo replay shows Galen yelling "Mo" crossing the finish line.
The Kenyans were supposedly going to take it through fast enough for Kiprop (who dropped out) to run 26:30 or better. Well, the Ethiopians and Kenyans will surely not allow the pace at 5000m to be anything but very, very fast after Farah and Rupp did this to them and bid to do it to them a second time at five.

I literally never thought I'd see an American-born runner medal in the 10k. Rupp damn there WON the greatest 10k on the biggest stage EVER. Well done kid. Well done!!!

If Rupp wasn't impeded on the back stretch by the lapped runner could he have challenged Farah for the win? He looked great!
Well, that didn't take long: coulda/woulda/shoulda already?

Great shot of alberto yelling at someone "I'M THE COACH!!!!"
hahahahahah hilarious
I saw that too...I laughed.
Also, Levins in 11th, stayed with the lead pack the entire race on the back end. Good start.
