I'd say 90% chance they take five mens teams. Not so sure about the women... thoughts?

I agree with 5 men, but I think the gap from 4 to 5, combined with the close scoring from 5 through 9 will hurt the women. I haven't looked too closely at the other regions to see how their bubble teams did, but I wouldn't be shocked if the women only got 4 this year.

So if all 5 teams make it to NCAAs, 7 individuals make it, right?
So it'd be:
Ngabo (Buff State)
Hess (Fredonia)
Swenig (Rowan)
Bickell (Ithaca)
Gallagher (TCNJ)
Leahy (TCNJ)
Hitchcock (Ithaca)
Right?
(Also, wow some individuals really bombed. Payne from Utica back in 49th? Zikry DNF? Also I didn't even know who Swenig was prior to today)
It's actually spelled Sewnig, and he's been running pretty well all season if you go back and look at his times. Also props to all the NYU runners pulling somewhat of an upset. Good job to all the runners who competed today, can't wait for Nationals!

Some impressive youth among the individuals. Ngabo, Leahy, and Hitchcock are all freshmen!
Based on today's results its pretty much a tossup between Geneseo and NYU as far who places higher at nats. NYU having the 5th man a little farther back hurts, at nats pretty much every second you lose is one or two points you lose. Having that very strong 2-3 will help. I don't think Geneseo had their best race today, however, they've been inconsistent outside their top 3. I think Clark and Mateer could have done a little better today. We'll see if they can put it together at nationals. The injury to Miles-Rath is tough as he we right up there with their 2-3.

Or just some unimpressive upper-classmen...
5 teams in, both men and women

Congrats to all teams and individuals who qualified! See you guys in Indiana!
I heard RPI tempoed at regionals to get prepared for the indoor season

Glad someone pointed out that RPI sucks just like some of us maintained all season.
More importantly, will the Hotlantic have any podium teams next weekend?

No no no. I heard that it was their local turkey trot that they were truly saving themselves for. Watch out for those RPI boys on Thanksgiving morning!

Anyone think Rochester will burn themselves out before October? 5 races in a row and it doesn't look like they're sitting anyone out, and we all established that they don't tempo races... Interested to see how they perform these next two weeks.
That question was asked on 9/28. Yeah, I'd say they didn't burn themselves out too badly. Meanwhile, some of the teams that tempoed a bunch of meets didn't do so hot.
Hmmm...
Yet a number still stomped Rochester on their home course and will run significantly better at nationals in a week. Hmmm...

I'm going take this as sarcasm. Some teams improved their times from pre-reg, some teams stayed about the same. Props to them for making it to nats tho
Can Ngabo repeat his performance from Saturday?? Hasn't done much all year, 16th at SUNYAC, and busts out a 3rd at Regionals?? What happened to Amengual from Cortland finishing 151st ??
Anyone know where there might be photos from the Regional meet last weekend?
Thanks.
So why did st Lawrence run 8 for the first 4k and when did they decide who should drop out

Did this seriously happen? I ran in a different region, but my senior year we thought that another team did something like that. They denied it though and we didn't have any video to prove it.

I doubt it, wouldn't that show up in the 2k and 4k splits?
