I think they probably just got fired up. Salazar stated that Galen and Mo were in 12:50 shape at Pre. I think these results validify that.

Who in the hell are you? Impersonating a genius should be a crime.
What?!? Why wasn't Andrew Bumbalough in this race? With his impressive credentials (a 13:16 PR and a dominating victory in the U.S. Olympic Trials prelim heats), I figured he would be all over the Diamond League races!

Don't you have better things to be doing with your time, Galen?

And the Chinese women's distance event World Records are legit, too!

Its not his fault he was born in Ethiopia with no birth certificate.

Understood, but the "World Junior Records" from the distance runners born in Kenya and Ethiopia have been suspicious for many years. Let's just say he's a young man who ran a very fast 5,000m and leave it at that!

they've been suspicious of what?

That those "teenagers" are at least a few years older than what their athletics federation would have you believe.

When is someone in the iaaf going to do anything about this?!

10 people under 12:50 ever and none for several years, and now six new ones do it in one race? Wonder what the new drug is.
Nothing, just finally a race that pushed people. There have been many sub 12:50 guys in previous years who never had a race go fast enough. Lagat is def one of them. I mean heck he ran 12:59 closing in 51.9. lots of guys have had the ability but the races are never fast enough. It seems like since the days when Bekele was going after WR's, nobody pushes themselves to the max. It's not like everyone for the past several years was that much slower than Bekele at his best, they just never went for it.

...someone can't do basic math.
The world junior records have been bullshit for a long time.
Does not matter how old he is, 12:47 speaks for itself.
