How's your training going? Are you getting many long runs in?
Any races in the near future?
All the best,
Not that I can tell at my lumbering training pace. It might be different when I try a race but I don't anticipate that. My hip started to hurt after my run today, don't know what that's about. Maybe I should fly to Germany, I understand there is some doctor there who can cure anything fast!
Does your mended rib affect your breathing at all?
classic Ed Whitlock understatement. Love it.

Thanks for the kind words Orville and good luck with the trek around the lake!
It is great to hear that you are on the mend and getting ready to race. I often tell older runners that Ed Whitlock says that one of the keys to racing success while aging is "patience".
I will be in Timmins in August for about 9 days for a high school reunion and part of the Timmins 100th anniversary party. I hope to be able to jog/walk around Gillies Lake. We could not do that back then.
All the best in your racing later in the summer.
This is a sad but warranted statement. I wish the Brojos would set up a board-within-a-board where people have to register and use their real names.
I thought so but someone has you down fairly well. This points out the reason why I do most of my lurking and posting on the Legends Lounge of Tracktalk.net. Most of the coaches and knowledgeable posters have been driven away from this message board.
