Anyone bringing teams in to SF to run this race against Pacific Assoction teams?
This race alwayas has some of the best runners from the Nike Farm Team and Adidas Transports clubs.

>The best post collegiate cross country runners in the western United States will gather Sunday, November 24, 2002 in Golden Gate Park for a race that is the local USATF Pacific Association Championships, as well as a final tune up for the December 14, 2002 USA Fall National Cross Country Championships in Rocklin, CA, near Sacramento.

>California, Hawaii, Nevada, New Mexico, Pacific, San Diego-Imperial, and

>Runners will run on the same two mile grass and dirt loop near the Polo Fields that Pat Porter, Lynn Jennings, and dozens of other Olympic and World Cross Country athletes have competed over in the last two decades. Local USATF Association runners compete in the strongest grand prix schedule in the country, contesting nine challenging races throughout Northern California before this highly competitive season finale.

Medals will be given to the top runners, but the real reward is competing against great competition in this final tune up to the USA Nationals. Declared open men and women¹s teams from outside Associations will compete against the Pacific Association for the Regional Team Championship, with the usual results system of five scoring and the sixth and seventh runners displacing. Regional awards are for Open runners only.

A generic entry blank can be found at the web site under Cross Country, and faxed entries will be accepted only for athletes outside the Pacific Association, but they will need to sign an original registration form on event day.
