I am going to say it again, since you delete it so often.
You toot your own horn on the front page for this interview...and you own the very worst site on the internet for trashing this guy...which you allow...like a the lead sociopath.
Sadly since there are enough idiots who like to piss on other people on the net, and you are such whores for hits on your website, you have never fully heeded the repeated requests of so many people to become a registered poster only forum and clean up the much of racism, hate crime type comments, anal sex fixated posters and all the rest...
And some how you think it is cool to report on this sport and then facilitate this cesspool...
That pendulum swing in behavior, makes you a sociopath.
How? Why?
Because you allow people to post devastatingly mean things about these national athletes...and you leave that crap up. And then the lame lazy or just plain uninformed part time track journalists out there come and find the most hits on a Webb on a Rupp and then think that in the total fandom for this sport in the USA that people think like the dooshbag posters on this site who trash these athletes, and you just let it go on.
Regardless of the success or hits on your website -- you are personally not fit to break bread with any of these athletes or their families.
When are you going to get it through your thick heads that what you facilitate here is not cool, not kind, that it lacks the basics in human respect for these people who make your living covering their athletic careers...that you lack class and worse you lack basic civility and manners.
Because you are the leaders, the facilitators of this environment -- you ironically are the only ones who deserve to be on the receiving end of the worst behavior on your boards, your world famous juvenile cesspool.
I have worked for NBC, CBS, ESPN, as a close liaison to USATF and other entities that make these events happen (NCAA's, OT, NC's).
Behind the scenes, no one respects you.
The only thing you do, is fill a niche that someone else did not fill on the net first...and you do it at a very low quality level from top to bottom.
Alan Webb having the immense class to rise above what he knows you have allowed others to post about him on your board/business ought to be a life changing experience for you.
Wow, take the high road, and class things up.
Bragging about getting the "scoop" that Alan was not going to run in the 1500m heats...all the while knowing the crap you allow Published in your public forums about the guy...
You're just the worst of all outlets on the web about our sport. You are so low class that you do not have a competitor for second place behind you.
While it is nice that you get articles and coverage up faster than other outlets...that is the only thing that keeps you alive.
Only because this sport is a dying and niche sport does the unique series of realities exist that allows you to not be easily eclipsed by someone/s making the effort to do a clean well light, exciting and classy version of your site.
