Anyone who can be identified should be kicked off the bus for the year.
People that age (6th, 7th grade I assume) are at their most evil. I was only bullied in the 6th grade, never before or after.
Not sure what a good punishment for those kids would be. Maybe give them plastic surgery to make them horribly deformed for a year.
Oh goodness. I could only stomach a couple minutes of that.
What little monsters. I hope they are haunted by this.

I think 4chan has gotten involved finding their facebook pages, so yeah, these kids will be haunted.

Bunch of little sh*%s. I remember some kids making a French teacher (around the same age/grade, actually) cry in class. They were harassing her over some article of clothing- but, really they were looking for an easy victim. I remember thinking the kids were nasty little pieces of sh*%. I also wondered why the teacher took their comments personally and didn't put the little runts in their place. Weak kids, weak adults. Never a good combination.

Maybe part of Jerry Sandusky's sentence should be to perform community service by ripping open the assholes of "people" like these kids.
WOW, stunning video and its a very unpleasant slice of life. I'd like to see the parents and the kids and the police sit down and watch this video together. I think I heard one voice say be quiet. I think those not involved should also watch it to try and figure out if their silence was the right thing.
Maybe the whole school, one class at a time needs to watch and discuss this tape. Maybe other schools around the country could have students watch this and comment on it.
Those kids are certainly dicks, but isn't that lady supposed to be, like, in charge?

No, actually. The person in charge is the bus driver.
Not to take this off-topic at all, but you should check out this video response-
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=odQ7jdEgCiwI have to assume he's joking, but it's hilarious. My favorite parts are "If she lost weight, it could really help the economy, actually" and "she probably lives on welfare, which people like me pay for." I'm pretty sure that kid is not paying for anybody's welfare, if you catch my drift.

So what exactly is her role? You'll have to forgive my ignorance. We don't have bus monitors where I live, so I'm not exactly sure what their job is. But if she isn't supposed to be some kind of authority figure, I can't really imagine what she is there for.
As calloused as I think I am sometimes, this broke my heart.
Every morning when she is bringing the kids to school or bringing them home from school she should hook up her IPOD to the radio and play "Pumped Up Kicks"
This should cure them of their current behavior
there are 2 more videos here
Kids need an ashwoopin.

Monitors are basically that- monitors. They are supposed to make sure kids aren't starting fights, ripping seats apart, messing with the bus driver, etc. The bus driver can't do this because they are too busy driving, but the monitors are supposed to provide something of an authority presence. Kids can get disciplined for things that the monitor witnesses, but generally they aren't expected to be an imposing presence. In my district the monitors were usually middle-aged/elderly women, and I believe they were volunteers (or got paid low wages- The woman in this story got paid 15k per year I read somewhere). It's a little bit hard to explain exactly, but they weren't considered to be on the same authority level as teachers, administrators, or bus drivers. They could yell at you, and they could get you in trouble, but they weren't qualified to hand out punishment themselves. As kids we always at least respected them enough to not harass them (and most people had good relationships with them actually), but clearly the kids in this video are morons, because what other explanation is there for filming yourself doing this and posting it online?
pffff, i got harassed a lot worse than that on the bus everyday for like 3 years.
lady is lucky the kids weren't all black.
seriously if you are a white kid on the bus, you are open game, whites dont even fight back, you will be killed.
