You don't know how drug testing works do you?

Here he is at the meet

I think he did it he is certainly capable, the meet directors have no reason to lie and would probably get caught and we have evidence that he was at the meet. It all seems legit. He posted on fb that he might not be fit(food poisoning?) and that he may not even run in the trials. There is no reason to give the guy such a hard time.
We know he was at the meet. That is not the debate.
People were originally skeptical because he ran a 13:32.99 on the last day to qualify--a story worthy of a newspaper article.
This was exacerbated by the fact that he is absent from the podium photo.
A photo of him sitting on the ground doesn't make it any clearer that he ran the race, finished third, and qualified for the Olympic Trials.

Either they gave the 3rd place prize to the wrong guy, or they mixed up the two Mohameds in the results.
Or the food poisoning tale is legit and Mo got someone else to collect his prize.
I love an aul conspiracy theory.
Or maybe he DNF'd because he had food poisoning and this really is just a results mixup. What do you think is more likely?
I remember when some guy ran 12:37.. no pictures of him running, no video, why even ratify that???
so he had food poison and still hit the qualifier??? there is not a sole insight on the track (podium picyure)??
how about some video?
+1Though I think it is a tie for low with many threads. Innocent until proven guilty, or gossiped about, is the new standard for guilt.

This thread is the all time low of let's run posts.
Mo ran 13:39.71 on May 19th in England, in freezing conditions and wind, on his own.
Athletics is a global sport. To doubt a result because it happens somewhere far from the USA, is nothing short of racism.

ReCord is spelled with a 'C' not a 'K'. Neither of those photos prove anything.
I been wanting to ask this for a long time, but is Mo Trafeh ("he fart OM" backwards) an letsrun message board in-joke? Like the phantom of the message boards or something. He's mentioned here, he's mentioned there, he's mentioned everywhere and often, but I've never heard of him outside letsrun.
OK, I'm a European reader, not American, so there might be history here I don't know, but still...

Wasn't he in Duluth a day before this? He was supposed to run the US Half Champs. It was announced on Friday that there would be drug testing....so no Trafeh on race day.
Is this true? If so, very interesting.
post of the month! thank you peter. i'll leave you int he dark as to what exaclty Mo is.....

Me thinks the pain and suspicion at Mo has to do with his name or background. If it were another athlete, lets say 'Noun McName' from Normalville everyone would be supporting him. No doubt at all. Take as acceptance pill people
Listen dude, when Ryan Hall finished 2nd behind Mo in the half marathon champ last year, he didn't send Dathan Ritz in full racing gear on the podium to take his award and celebrate for him, did he? This is just common sense! Why is everything involving Mo sketchy as hell like that?
Ok so I was just reading these post for entertainment while eating this morning, but then I noticed something strange...
The 2 pictures that people "claim" shows he was at the meet, can you spot the difference?

Maybe he shaved... at the meet? :p
It's not Trafeh in the first pic but Monder Rizki himself (look at bib).
So Trafeh wasn't with the leaders when the picture was taken.
Foam or Gel? and how is it when any athlete scandal breaks, it generally involves a Nike sponsored athlete.
RIP: D3 All-American Frank Csorba - who ran 13:56 in March - dead
RENATO can you talk about the preparation of Emile Cairess 2:06
