He looked easier than his two other 1:41's. Maybe he starts using Scherer instead of Tangui?

Robbie needs to stay closer to the lead when he isn't racing in the NCAA.

Dumb f, one announcer was still calling him Kaki.

On my broadcast they were saying Kaki was in the lead until 100m to go even though he had dropped. Not surprising considering how they butchered the womens 800m.

They were calling him Kaki until almost 600m.
Now I'm mad at Matt S. b/c he has a chance to make an Oly team at 8oo
is that his 5th sub 1:42:00 or has he run under more than that? amazing
NBC is the worst, they make up stuff, this is not the first time, if you look at a couple of Olympics these clowns have made up stuff during races. Do your homework NBC, use the internet, know the athletes. It is your Job, and then the mess at the Adidas grandprix, have you watched the other Grand Prix? can we organize something better...
Give any of the trolls here, and they will do a better job of analyzing the athletes
Wow!! What a race, I'm not sure if even rudisha expected that fast of a time. I hope he can improve on this form and still peak at the Olympics to really solidify his GOAT status though. Decent race for Robby, but I think this race really shows why he'll end up being a better 1500 guy than 800 man, he was just running full around in lane 3 half the race trying to make up a lot of ground in the last 150 which can't be done on the world stage. The dude is a hell of a runner but his 800m racing style is much less effective on the elite stage. Can't wait to see rudisha take a run at the 1:40 barrier this year!!
Tough to stay close to the lead when Rudisha is swinging his dick around.
Just to clear this up, one announcer accidentally called the man in second (Lalang I think) Kaki ONCE. And he was immediately corrected by the other who noted that Kaki dropped out. Neither of the announcers had any trouble identifying Rudisha at any time in the race.
I'm pretty sure that they were sitting in a booth and when the crowd stood to see Rudisha cross the line they couldn't see him even though they knew he was winning by a ton.
London's for second
I hope he can get gold in the Olympics, he deserves it. If the weather is good (not cold and rainy, because that's Rudisha's weakness) then he will win 100%. He should follow Lagat's example and train in rainy conditions for a few weeks just to get used to it.
49 is routine for rudisha

When David Rudisha was rounding the turn to the home stretch one of the announcers very clearly said "and Abubaker Kaki is showing us why he is the World Record holder and Olympic Champion".
best runner of all time. period.
