I've been to about 25 concerts, I suppose. I'm a big country fan, but at this point in my life, I think the only bands I will still pay to see are Goo Goo Dolls and Metallica (don't laugh). How about you?

Just bought tickets to see Tommy Igoe with the Birdland Big Band play at Birdland a couple of Fridays from now, so I guess that's one band I'd pay to see. Though the list of all the bands I would/have/will pay to see is too long to post.
Brojos
Flagpole
Metallica is an amazing live show.
I've been to a ton of concerts, probably 15 or so in the last 6 months. The last show I was at was Rise Against and A Day to Remember. Against Me! is probably the next show I'll be at, and of course the Warped Tour when that rolls into town!

I can relate. When I was in high school and college, I went to about a dozen shows a year. Now at age 31, the only bands I still pay to see live are Muse and Opeth.
You a drummer?

Nah. After trying my hand at any number of instruments, I have come to realize that my proper place is in the audience, not on stage.

RUSH
JOURNEY
FOREIGNER
REO SPEEDWAGON
BOSTON
TRIUMPH
NIGHT RANGER

Ah, didn't know Tommy Igoe had a band. I used to watch his Groove Essentials for drumming.
Bruce Sprinsteen. Always Bruce Springsteen.
Eddie and the Cruisers
EOT/POD/FTW
WTF is Eddie and the Cruisers?
Well I payed to see St. Vincent a week and a half ago. It was definitely worth it. There are quite a few bands I would pay to see if the price wasn't too steep.
About five years ago I went to 20 or so shows a year and would pay to see just about anyone I liked. Now that I have a kid I only go to a few shows a year. I've recently paid to see Radiohead, Bon Iver, Arcade Fire, the National, and Wilco. I don't see myself paying much to see anyone in the near future, with two exceptions. I would pay a lot to see Sigur Ros. I would pay even more to see Portishead.
Cowboy Mouth
took my kids 8 & 9 to ac/dc
thought there would be more kids and less jumbo tron tits
kids loved AC/DC
they know even word
Angus is 50+ and still ripped
people say their songs are all alike but you know from the first beat which song it is
The kids keep asking to see Led Zepplin
Foo Fighters are the best live band out there right now. Even if you aren't a huge fan of theirs (which many aren't, for reasons that blow my mind), you will leave the show thinking, "Damn, that was amazing."
Going to see Rodger Waters do the Wall in 10 days.
Going to see Radiohead in two weeks, and spending the next two weeks trying to make my girlfriend understand/appreciate them too...

Freakin awesome!
I'd pay HUGE dollars to see original Doors, Pink Floyd pre-1980 (I've seen them without Waters a few times), a few others. Unfortunately, all the bands I really want to see have one or two dead members, so I'd need a time machine.
