Nike founder Bill Bowerman's 43 yr daughter-in-law arrested for "sexually abusing" a 17 yr old boy on her HS track team

17 year olds are children. They can't consent. 12 year olds certainly can't consent. Is it that hard to understand? Holy shit this site is turning into reddit.

Not sure how I feel about this, or how Bill would feel given that Jon Bowerman is talking about selling the iconic family ranch as a result....

30 of the 50 states have an age of consent of 16. 9 others have an age of consent of 17. Oregon is one of just 11 states where the age of consent is 18.

Doesn't the definition of a cougar include some degree of hotness? I know people don't look their best in mug shots, but this lady looks like Daryl Oates after a couple of bites from a fresh lemon and maybe an estrogen shot.

Reverse sexism at its finest, your probably a woman too. People automatically assume female victms of statutory rape are poor victims, whereas the guy vistims are " hi fiving" bull crap. If I was 17 and a mid 40s woman, slept with me id be creeped out. Plus she was a coach there was a huge power dymanic there. Kids are impressionable they can be pressured into things even if they don't realize they are being pressured or "charmed"

How is that possible? That's how schools get lawsuits.

When I read about the prom at Condon I thought she made a dumb choice but could believe it was fairly innocent. Condon high school has about 40 kids in it. If it was a combined Condon/Wheeler prom you're talking about two schools with total enrollment of maybe 80 kids. At that time I could buy that in a really small town she could have thought that was ok because everyone would know her etc.. I do see a difference between a high school with 40 students and one in an urban area. Now, it looks like it was something deeper.

Either a really bad mug shot or the last two years haven't been kind to her.

Exactly. Males ARE different from females ... no matter what the feminists at your college are trying to convince you of. This boy was most likely not damaged in the least but I'm willing to let the justice system figure that out.
