800:Andrews,Symmonds,Greer
1500:Centro,Wheating,Manzano
St:Jager, Huling, Cabral
5k:Lomong, Lagat, Rupp
10k:Rupp, Ritz, Teg
summary:
800: Andrews just ran 3:34, he will cruise by the rounds easier this year and outkick symmonds. Greer will run a smart race and nab Jock at the line.
1500: It will come down to a mad kick like always. Centro will show why he got bronze at WC and wheating will show what he can do when healthy and in 3:30 shape again. Manzano is great in U.S championships, he will find a way.
St:Jager won't fall. Huling and Cabral will have the 2/3 spots locked up with 300 to go. Sure Cabral has a long season and what not, but his kick is just too much better than whoever will get 4th.
5k:Lagat will try to kick his way to the win,But Lomong will have a better one. I think Lomong has the most talent in american distance running and he is going to show it soon.
10k: rupp is clear favorite. Ritz if healthy will be there. Teg will prob run the 10k for a better chance to qualify, I don't see him making 5k team if Lomong runs it and I don't see why Lomong would run 1500 when he has better shot at 5k.
