Why is it that AC defenders love to say "just read the criteria; the document it only 10 pages and super easy to find on the Trials website." (It's not, by the way.)
It's on the Athletics Canada site. First item on the Olympic Games link.
The basic criteria are two pages. The rest are the usual legal filler (which is less than your vaunted USATF document).
Stop making things up.
There seem to be five A athletes (plus the three marathoners) who will currently be left behind even with the A and top-three at trials.
The only athletes who have made a Canadian A standard in 2012 and pending top 3 may still not make the team are:
- Aaron Brown.
Not five. Stop making things up.
The only additional athletes who have made IAAF A standard in 2012 but will not be on the team are:
- Lanni Marchant;
- Krista Duchene.
Not three. Stop making things up.
