Question 1 (who is Merber): Google is your friendQuestion 2 (speculation on times). Google is your friendOnce you crawl out of your cave and figure out that Merber is a good runner who has been an underachiever, the rest will fall into place.

Who's Merber??? What about Leer, Brannen etc...Anyone have an ACTUAL link for the results and not speculation on times?
Texas is getting Merber, Stilin, and Van Ackeren next year (though I have to wonder if Merber won't just go pro after this). Wouldn't be a bad 4x1500
Yes, really needs to get after that Canadian standard, because it is the Canadian standard that is holding him back...right
how the heck did he ever lose to donn cabral?
just quietly, Williamsz is only 19.
Consider Will Leer's professional career over if he doesn't get the A standard this olympic year. He just got whooped by a collegiate and some unknowns.
This meet is ridiculous, every year it's always good conditions and most people run good PR's. On my team we always joke about Swarthmore's 390 meter track; after the 1500 Willis was overheard saying to a friend (probably Blincoe) "Mate I don't know, maybe that track is short or something"
But seriously, I was in the fast heat of the non-pro section and it was mesmerizing watching those guys. Willis came through in 2:51 and I was supposed to be doing strides, but instead I was just paying attention to the Columbia guys going crazy yelling that Merber just ran 3:35!
Merber proves he can run a good time trial.
nycnyc can't enjoy anything or be excited for anyone else because he is a sad, out-of-shape, never was.

Merber is overrated #letsrun
Merber has peaked too soon #letsrun
Merber should move out to the 5000 #letrun
Merber's time proves the Ivy League is overrated #letsrun
Merber should frontrun like Pre and show us he's a man #letsrun
Merber needs to prove he can run this fast in other races #letsrun
I don't know what's up with Will but I hope he gets it sorted out soon. He's been top-5 at USAs for the past 3 years and has been sooooooo close to making an international team.
Was at the meet.
Brannen died down the stretch, Williamsz looked excellent as did McEntee. Merber was just unreal.
In the 'B' race, Rob Denault looked very good. Smart of Marcus and Blincoe to keep him out of the invitational section, but he could have held his own in that race.
Also, Sheila Reid looked very good to easily out-kick several pros. Relatively slow time, but it was about the pace that the NCAA Champs will be at, most likely.
