how pissed must kiprop be? good sport, though.
He still ran an excellent time all things considered and it truly seemed accidental. Just tangled feet. Man that was a blazing fast race though. 3:29.63 for Kiplagat.

3:29.78 for Kiprop, new PB.
Damn, Kiplagat bumps Kiprop's foot ~120m out from line. Kiprop almost stumbles inside rail. Kiplagat passes to take lead.
Kiprop makes valiant effort on outides, but Kiplagat sways wide to the finish to hold off.
Two sub-3:30s.
It almost seems strange to think that Kiprop has never run under 3:30 before.
What did Brown run?
Kiprop will be in 3:27high shape by the summer I think...he's amazing. And now he's good at tactical races too.
did Brown get the 'A'?
3:34 for Brown, a nice PR
3:34.11 - A Standard!
I know, I couldn't believe it when I looked at the start list. Would have loved to see a contact-free finish.

hahaha...this is good. I'd love to see her in an 800. She should be good for a sub 2 with training.
That's going to be a controversial 1500m. Kiplagat 3:29.63, Kiprop 3:29.78. Kiprop was leading with 100m to go but Kiplagat bumped into him which made Kiprop stumble and threw Kiprop off his rhythm. However, Kiprop still got a PB and finally ran under 3:30 so at least he comes away with that. 53.30 final lap.
Great race in the 1500. If you didn't see it Kiprop was leading with Kiplagat right on his heels and somehow Kipro got clipped with about 100 to go. He stumbled, Kiplagat went by.
Then Kiprop tried to catch him but came up just short. Despite all of this they both went sub 3:30.
I completely forgot no one broke 3:30 last year.
This was a PR for the Olympic and World Champ Kiprop.
Way back Russell Brown and Ryan Gregson got the Olympic "A" qualifiers. Hell Kaki got one and the last guy in the main pack that finished.

Who the hell is this guy? People are coming out of no where? I see he is 24 with a 3 sec PR today, NICE
The talent one country produces is just stunning. Should be celebrated
I wasn't able to see the race. About how much time would you estimate Kiprop lost getting bumped?
Birgen isn't out of nowhere, he's been on the circuit for years. Most often a pacer.
Birgen was always near the front of races last year. No wins to speak of iirc, but he's not unknown.
REgarding time lost by Kiprop - less than a second, but the win.

Definitely the win. My guess would be .6-.75. It took awhile for him to regain balance and then accelerate again. He gained on Kiplagat but there wasn't enough distance left.
