Wow, just wow.. At his age he's running about the same time as he ran when he won Olympic Gold. That is insane to me.
Guess we have better and stronger stuff available to more people these days

these enormous bibs the athletes have to wear on their front and back are ridiculous. they need to do away with them.
They're no bigger than normal, they just have more white space on them which makes them appear larger.
Rudisha 1:43.10 win
Nice run from Kinyor (never heard of him) making Rudisha work.

yeah, i know. i'm not just talking about this meet.
I guess it's like they say, you never really lose it once you've had the speed.. It just takes a bit longer to get there.
I don't think they're still working as you put it, but it may have helped him reach a new set point and mentally established a peak level for him.
Once you know you can bench 200, even if you stop working out for years, you remember what 200 was like and eventually you get there and maybe even surpass it.

Yeah, Right?? We need to get her into an 800 and see what she has. :-)
OHHH Brown diving at the line....?
Can we get a photo of Menedo?
If she could manage it get into 10.80 shape, based off what she has done in the past being a 10.9/11.0 runner she may be able to challenge the 21.5 range this year at the olympics. She is only what 26 or 27? She still has another olympics in her or 2 even!
Maybe she will move up to the 400/800 by 2016 or 2020!
how pissed must kiprop be? good sport, though.
