From a conversation I had with him, I can relay that he only counts 65-70mpw, but he does not count his warm-up and cool-down miles when he is doing a workout or race.
So, considering that the avergage distance runner obsessively tries to squeeze in extra mileage on the warm-up and cool-down and counts every step, in normal-runner terms he is probably running closer to 80-90, depending on how many workouts he is doing each week.
