103:11 through the half, appears to be running with Tadese in no man's land.
103:11 through the half, appears to be running with Tadese in no man's land.
Kipsang has broken it open
1:02;12 is too slow for him. A 4:30 mile and only Lelisa is with him.
I think Kirui is trying to respond.
THey are showing
Mutai and Lel in 4th and 5th along with Worku and the Eritrean in 4-5-6-7 running together.
Mutai is pushign that chase pack.
^^^^gomes dos santos in 103:11, that is.
I think they said mile 14 was 4:30 did anyone else see that?
If so the WR would be in jeopardy as they don't need to pick it up too much.
Women's 21st mile was 5:09
Keitany and Edna Kiplagat are now 10 meters up on Florence Kiplagat and I think Jeptoo
Ethiopia has some amazing young talent with Lilesa and Abshero.
Women under 2:20
Jeptoo has some crazy running form.
Kirui Vs Kipsang Vs Lilesa
14:09 last 5K!!
25K 1:13.22
Women's race is down to 2. Edna iplagat and Keitany. 2 others are maybe 30-40 meters down.
Nice gesture as Keitany offered Edna Kiplagat her watter bottle at 35km.
No idea. Gomes is a 2:06 guy and might be on that pace somewhere. Kenyan ladies have already picked their Olympics team. Lucy Kabuu either dropped out or is off pace. So Florence, Edna and Keitany makes the team. I don't think Rita will make the top three.
There is a good chance that these could be our Olympic medalists.
Can anybody give me an up date on Marty dent and Scott westcott?
16:08 for 7th 5k faster again.
Keitany and Edna are clear with 4 miles to go roughly.
Abel Kirui has bridged the gap on the men's side so it's Lilesa, Kipsang and Kirui
A 5:07 23rd mile has put Keitany in the lead alone!!
Saw them at 9 miles. Marty looking good with the sub 2.12 pace. Scottynhad dropped was on his own and looking rough. No idea no where they are.
5:07 last mile for the women has opened it up by Keitany. She's 10 meters up on Edna Kiplagat.
Tickler you can track them here:

Martin Lel was in 4th 15 seconds back at 25k.
the ethiopian guy may just be starting to struggle...
Kirui is now the one opushing it 1;22:30. He just grabbed a water bottle from a random spectator and poured it on his shoes. Strange.
