Dado will win the women's race .. they haven't mentioned her yet. Clearly in grata shape after her 2 wins in nyc at half.and full marathon
How terrible are these announcers

Did I just hear that Chelanga is a US citizen and is gunning for the olympic team this year?
men leaders at 9 miles at 2:11 pace
Randall has GUTS baby! That's what it's about. You nutless losers pacing yourself to a 2:35, whoopdie doo. Randall pushed and can say he led the Boston Marathon for a quarter of the race. He may die but the only way to make major breakthroughs is to go out at 2:07 pace when you are no better than a 2:20 marathoner. That's how it works, it's all about GUTSSSSSSSSSSSSS!!!!!!!!!!
Since no one is covering the men's race. I'll do it for you.
Pace continues to slow.
15:22 1st 5k
15:39 2nd 5k (31:01)
15:41 3rd 5k (46:48)
That's 2:11:38 pace.
9 women in the lead pack at halfway 1:17:08.
Randall first three 5K splits:
15:04, 15:58, 17:30
I'll remember that when I see DNF next to his name.

Anyone have a handle on the leaders among the American women?
At 20K, Camille Herron (jaguar1) led the Americans, with Sheri Piers and recent citizen Nuta Olaru not far behind her. Herron is about 2:00 behind the leaders.
thank you
hope jag takes the top American she delt Mary Akor would be running with her, is that so?

He is starting to slow. Projected 2:16 finish time.
I hope people take into account the weather when they look at the times, like they did last year with the wind. I did some quick math and their adjusted (for heat) pace is actually around 2:04.
men mile 11 slowing - 2: 12 pace
I've been watching about 30 minutes. I've seen more interviews and fluff pieces than actual racing.
Jaguar's splits. Hopefully the formatting holds.

Excellent! Maybe if the winner's time projects out to be less than 2:03:02, the B.A.A. can petition to have it recognized as the world record.
Anybody find a site to stream on an iPhone?

Yeah, they obviously will realize that the weather is a factor in the finishing times.
Hartmann looking good so far.... Looks like leaving his coach was a really good idea.

there is no racing right now, there are still more than a dozen in both lead packs. the most exciting thing happening is some water stations
Go Randall!
Hartman is a head above the rest. Seriously.
For posterity sake, i just took a screenshot of weather.com to prove what the weather was like after the race.
It's saying it's 79 with a 6 mph south wind and 47% humidity. This is when i went to their site at 10:59 am.

Although their 15 minute thing says it's still 76.
