Crazy race overall BUT what a waste any of those 3 runners could have broken the WR if only the 2 ethiopian runners had been abit patient.Lesson learned for Mosop and Canoa i think they underestimated their opponents and focussed purely on the WR forgetting that Ethiopians never think twice about spoiling a kenyan party.Maybe the 2 ethiopians will qualify for olympics .If so then that will be the only big thing that will comeout of this race otherwise it will be quickly forgotten as one of the other 2.04.50 races around the globe.
Who's the Dutch guy? Did he break the NR?
Wykes in!
Mosop's nose was running badly during the race, wonder if he had a cold?
any idea how it is going with the ladies?
Al times were run over IAAF /USATF certified marathon courses. Boston just not eligible for WRs but 42.195 km
2:04:47 seems routine..

Time?
Personal bests for all 3 placegetters. 36 second (legal) best for Mosop. The Ethiopians now have a handy collection of sub 2.05 runners.
who is this girl?
Looked like 2:11:00 or thereabouts. He was already walking around in the finish chute and getting his towel at 2:11:21.
thats Koen Raymaekers, he misses the Olympics with 35seconds in a new PR 2.10.34.
Dutch NR is 2:08.21 Kamiel Maase
he is one of the speakers.
2:10:40ish for Wykes
Gelana finishes strong and wins the women's race in 2:18:58
Don't know, looks like next finisher after top Netherlands runner, looks at least one after is under 2:11:30.
Omg, Gelana 2:18:57 and just flat our sprinting at the end!
