That's dead wrong. They just don't let you know who they are.

Yes, theirs always won more.
Okay. Pretty much every other comment on this thread is making me chuckle to myself.
No more. No less.
Just chuckle.
to myself.

Are you suggesting someone stay and eventually become a 20+ year old, or older, high school student, no kidding? Intensively ironical, for all intents and purposes.

Letsrun is 4chan for runners.
lol, this place would be way more entertaining if that was true.
typical flotrack response: "go back to let's run where you belong"
the runzone.com is pretty sweet place
how about intensive porpoise? Your obsession over semantics is sooo boring. yadda, yadda, yadda! You people are such a bunch of self important, high-maintenance individuals that no one but letsrun would have you. sophmoric is a great description. who would take any advice - other than elementary running quieries- from here? good bye and good riddance letsrun!!!
most of the LRC community hates LRC. we come for the news and tolerate the admins
I love this site. One can get some excellent training advice, or just get slammed, or pwn noobs.
Some of you people take the internet way to seriously.
Morons
There is a lot of immaturity on LRC. Many posters don't seem to know how things (the world) work. You read a response to something and you wonder: "Jeez, has he/she ever lived in the real world,"
However, where else can you keep up with what in going on in the professional world of running? Many thanks to the brojos for that. I just wishj they did more interviews.
I love LR it makes me laugh. I never come her for advice. I like to watch whats going on in college and elite racing. There are a bunch of idiots on this site but it would be boring with out them.

Jeez Louise. Now you've really made my feelings feel bad. I might just have to leave with you.
Of course, I never did post any quieries on here anyway so maybe I won't be missing too much.
nobody does interviews with the brojos because they're just going to lambaste them...
many elites do visit (and troll) this forum

There's enough truth in that to make letsrun interesting.
4chan, for those who don't know, is characterized by
a) anonymity, and
b) loose moderation
which has a similar salutary effect there as it does here. This is not as true on letsrun; mods are more active, and it's easier to have a recognizable handle.
But be honest: do you think this board would become more worthwhile if you put up higher barriers to sharing information? With the ability to be anonymous comes a greater willingness to take risks and say things without regard to your reputation. For instance, I'd never admit to going to 4chan in real life or on an account that had a reasonable chance of being traced back to me. Here you're getting an actual opinion without me being too concerned about what you think about me.
Yes, you have to dig through a lot of shit to find it, and people behaving horribly to each other is part of the culture, but that's the price you pay for
c) nuggets of pure original content you won't find anywhere else (until people spread them around).
I'm talking about both
1)'Jason Rexing in trainers', 'pirate/cat/gun girl' style fun and
2) 'Renato Canova posts about his training', 'Hadd shares his insights', 'Gerry Lindgren himself starts posting inspirational messages' on-topic forum gold.
Actually the Lindgren thing falls in both categories, I remember some of his posts being hilarious.
Anyway, both are a significant part of the value of these boards. Though you have to sift through a significant portion of shit to get to it, the payoff is certainly greater than forums populated almost exclusively by boring people whose motivation for posting seems chiefly to be just to hear themselves talk. Thank god we have none of those on letsrun.

actually, the forums are alright but the brojos reporting is what I really hate about this site.
From the constant attempts at 'gotcha' moments in interviews to the horribly inane reports that have amazingly stupid things like an * besides someone's age because, literally, they think lots of people have lied about their age so everyone must do it.
and the constant doping accusations encouraged and promoted on the forum itself are downright pathetic.
