I didn't see the race...are you REALLY serious Lagat closed in 23.6 for the last 200m? I haven't heard of anyone closing that fast in the 3000m indoors off any pace!!! If he can show up at the Olympics in that form or even slightly improve, WHO could outkick him???

Bekele, Choge, Kipchoge...you can´t permit a "slow" race, 7:41 is still tactical
If you start with 2:34min/km...and go through 3k in 7:42 I don´t see Lagat in the medal rangs
