The Internet signal on our dry loop connection would drop every 10 minutes. This went on for 6 months. In all that time, nobody offered to fix the problem. It was recorded in my records, improved for a few days, and then got worse.
Only when I threatened to break my contract did they come out and fix the problem.
Service at restaurants is routinely slow and unorganized. At high end places, the waiters are incompetent, consistently. And restaurants are now suggesting 20% tip? That is a joke.
It just goes on and on. The level of expectations here is very second rate...people tolerate sub-par service. But everybody is friendly at least, and that is considered to be more important.
