yes, Hall and others have seen a proper sports Dr...but the trouble is with most sports Drs, many have very little running specific knowledge on biomechanics, etc. They see a swollen knee, and then try to fix the swollen knee. reality is something else is out of sorts, and adding extra stress to the knee, so even if the knee is fixed short-term, issue will come back because the root cause is not found. this is something Dr Ball (as well as other therapists) do VERY well. keep in mind, 90 percent of Dr Ball's elites come word of mouth, and that speaks for itself.
