Some of the times being mentioned in early posts would not even get you recruited at a top tier D1 program. Full ride distance scholarships for guys are rare to nonexistent. Even Foot Locker All Americans and sub 4:10 sub 8:55 guys seldom get full rides. If the college is consistently a national qualifier, remember that there are upper classmen already getting money. And the track program takes some money for throwers and jumpers and sprinters, too. My advice is to pick a college you like and then figure out how to pay for it. State schools are one option. Ivys another, with their huge endowments.
