Swingline Stapler is hilarious to me because we drank to office space to get started last night. I'm at 12 and 12 right now, and I'm basically realizing that my homework just isn't going to get done this week

Ha Ha good to hear, I'm a grad assistant in the middle of an intense indoor season. So I will live my dream of the bicentennial vicariously through this thread. If I was doing it I would absolutely be drinking Yuengling or PBR tho.
+1 for Yeungling. I'll be keeping up all week and cheering for you, Fast and Fats!

Im made of adipose tissue, not money
Oh man this is shaping up to be a classic, keep us informed!

Well I'm a skinny white runner guy and managed 125 miles and 150 beers neither of these guys will approach this so go back home.
For the love of god, nobody cares what you and your RIT homebody did during your week-long vacations from supposedly 'adult jobs' a few springs ago when you came back at the age of 25 or something like that and camped out with a bunch of 18 year-olds in the crappy RIT colony and had them feed you beer only interrupted by sessions of NAMBLA-inspired lovemaking.
Fast Guy and Fat Guy are still in school, TAKING CLASSES (which they are in the middle of), and clearly unfit for this challenge, which makes it way more interesting. In college it's called partying, after you graduate it's called alcoholism. Get a life and stop pooping on people who start these threads with legitimate intentions.
you have no idea how fat the fat guy really is. to further open debate, if fat guy actually pulls this off, it will officially prove that finishing a marathon is not hard. it might even end the heel strike debate, but i have reservations
It's been forever! I crave updates...
Fast: Going strong.
Fats: Speaking in one word sentences, cliche phrases (hold my dick), and possibly going to throw up soon.
The other roommate still has red hair.
So right now Fast Guy has run a cool marathon of 26 miles and is finishing his 24th beer. Fat Guy has done 16 miles, aka more miles total than he has run in the last 3 years. He has done 18 beers, behind Fast Guy and also feeling it a lot more than Fast Guy is.
Fast Guy is looking to finish this in five days, world record? Fat Guy is going to continue to pace himself, because my legs feel even heavier than normal, and its been a day. As long as I get out the door tomorrow, I think I'm gonna make it. Everyone pray my thursday test gets pushed back.
Thanks for obliging. You can do it, Fat Guy! I have faith in you. Which is really saying something, since I have no faith in anything.
wow. 26 miles in (but the running isnt the hard part for me) and 28 beers. about to move on to my second case. feeling a bit drunk. just trying to finish as quick as possible
fat guy is hanging in there. he went to be bed but me and the other roommate are making sure he gets up and does that first run tomorrow morning.
right now im waiting to sober up a little before sleeping to avoid any hangoverage

update: fat's test has been moved.
but i face a tax quiz tomorrow. should be real fun
Just got back from a morning 4 miles with Fats McFatterson. I am going to try to go out once a day with him, but this is also my first exercise in a long time, so that's all I can do and maybe more.

fat guy: inspiring others towards a healthier life style one mile/beer at a time

I predict a 54 on it.
How fat is fat guy? You gave a PR for fast guy, so I think we need some weight on fat guy. Also, I had a ginger roommate in college too. What an angry man he was.
ugh. woke up completely hammered. so i had a beer and went back to sleep. time to crank some miles today

The bicentennial challenge is about as far from "legitimate intentions" as one could possibly fathom.

This needs to be answered, full height and weight. He ran 4 miles at a 9 minute pace. No running at all in the last 3 years if I remember. That pace puts you right in the middle of the pack at your run of the mill 5K. Yes, I am aware it is slow, but I think Fat Guy is really not very fat.
