3 things:
1. Banning books is ridiculous and I was taught growing up that I should seek out and read any book that I was told I could not read. My mom was a serious hippy. She even bought me a t-shirt that read, "Celebrate Freedom: Read a Banned Book."
2. Running with the Buffaloes isn't exactly great literature. I am not sure it needs to be in the MS library. Maybe it could require a parental signature.
3. The reporter didn't really do any digging into the story. One Google search returns info about Ponce being a sexual deviant who is running from the cops. I think that would have been worth mentioning, no? Journalism died about a decade ago, but damn.
