man those guys are workin hard.
man those guys are workin hard.
I would better say No Olympics for Gebrselassie
Currently the commentators are talking about how great it is for competition to have 20-25 guys still in the lead pack at 25k.
I just saw Lel still cranking along at the front of the pack.
Looks a bit warm....pace will probably slow. Anyone have latest splits?
The women are moving at least
Markos Geneti looking like the likely winner.
no, the guys on the bikes are working hard.
the pack of 11 girls came by the half in 1:09.42-1:09.53
11 on sub 2:20 pace, wow.
Top 10 women through half way in 1:09:42 - 1:09:53. One second covers the top 9.
There are now 22 runners in the top pack as they come up on 27k.
30th place man went by the half in 1:03.15 wow.
I just checked The Weather Network which says right now it's 55 degrees with 82% humidity in Dubai. The temp is perfect but I'm trying to imagine what that humidity would feel like?
this is like a tempo run I did the other day.

yes click on the leaderboard then click halfway, then click 30 to see the top 30 in both the mens and womens race.
Ethiopians starting to move. Merga, Tola.
Dubai doesn't really consider the women's race real, middle east and all...
Captain, the ship is breaking up.
