What an embarrassment! He couldn't finish in the top ten of my local turkey trot!!!! I could kick his ass in ANY discipline.

he's not a militant any more.
Dan Browne quit running in 2009 after the world championships. Hasn't run a step in over 2 years until today. I think he did pretty well.
Not a step? Right.......and I am Santa Claus.

He BETTER have run since 2009. He's been collecting a check from the US Army. If he's been paid but not working, that's called theft and his employer should be ashamed for not noticing.
Are you kidding me, the US army soft? Now soft would be if a bunch of world class marathoners weighing a buck 25 soaking wet with those 80LB bench presses were running the show. "hey buddy, help me lift this rifle so I can shoot at the enemy, Ill pull the trigger, just say when"

Marines are much tougher than army.

I saw Dan Browne at the Army 10 Miler in October. He's definitely been running. He's definitely slowed in the last two years though.
He's a great guy. Obviously he had a bad day at the office. I think his 10 miler in October was also off, something like 52 minutes. He used to win that race every year. Either way he's still an Army Major and a great person. It's not easy training in the Army when you have constant interruptions and obligations. These guys don't get to train full-time like real elites.
marines crying like little p*ssies that they are!
Army runners are not allowed to drop out of the race...no matter what happens.
Well, they're not supposed to and most follow the rule, HOWEVER, Joseph Chirlee apparently did drop out today. I can't find him in the results. He is a private at Fort Carson.
Only Marines are allowed to urinate in public.

Dan B. is close to 50 you idiot.
Your right, he did drop. He may get kicked off the team for it....will have to see what happens. WCAP is not very forgiving.
Well that's too bad Chirlee has some promise and he's young. I noticed in the coverage he was right behind Hall at mile 8.
Dan has never, ever, spent a real day in the Army. He's a joke for an officer.
it could be said Dan Browne was honorable for NOT DROPPING OUT and finishing even if he realized mid-way the result was going to be unspectacular.
im wondering if he was even breathing hard when he finished.
You're an idiot.
i noticed WCAP army athletes Nate Pennington & Dan Browne always finish....it might be a rule WCAP has where they have to just jog it and never drop out
