**NEWSFLASH**
Europeans who don't quite cut it, move to the US to "train". Like their are no Europeans in the know. And like we haave no mountains.
In fact, since Spain got a bad rep, USA now is the dope nation of choice.
Up till 5 years ago, there was barely a US dope case. Above suspicion. See what that proved to be worth. Super epic hardcore doping rinks, in for the BIG MONEY, exposed.
Out of Competition test on far-from-home Europeans were very rare up til recently it seems. Heannie Longo got away with here States side "altitude camps" for decades. She's now be exposed, and let off on technicality (acting stupid pays), basically because she's French. He hubby bought EPO though, and guess who from? Yes, American-Irish Joe Papp.
Until VERY frequent blood tests are caried out, especially out of competition, talent-short evil is going to rule endurance sports. Even force the truly top talented ones to dope to get their deserved medals. Let's not act as if donkey can't become race horses. History has proven it time and again.
I see runners going all obsesses with their sport, doing like the ones they were beaten by. Training camps on other continents, etc. Still they come up short. Yet continue to overstride and consider themselves hardcore, and deserving of "their" wins. Oh I am so special, I train so well. I don't even have a job, I am so hardcore. Yet going slower than the past generations who did contribute to society, shut up and got busy. Lack of talent, swallow it, and go get yourself a real job.
