Another thread about finding your distance prompted me to post this thread.
My ultimate goal is to get to Boston. I've only done 2 marathons with mediocre training and mediocre results. However, I love the distance, the environment, the pushing your body to the limit that comes with running a marathon.
Should I focus on marathon training exclusively? I mean, the training for that is a lot different than a 5k. I don't mind trading performances in shorter races for getting a BQ.
