Joseph Chirlee
Yea Joseph Chirlee I was thinking the same thing . But you really can't post a name like that on this kind of board because there are way too many Americans who forget we are a melting pot of a nation nation and will be side tracked by the fact that he was born in Kenya, and they will likely state all kinds of frivolous Bologna about him not being a real "American" not born here etc.... even though most people don't know he is a member of the US armed services, went through the Army boot camp like all the rest, and has taken an oath to protect our country with his life.
Better stick with someone safe.......
hahahah you read my mind . Seriously! He is a real hard worker and has run 2:12:10, He always goes for broke that's why he has not had a great marathon in a while, all or nothing! He can only race , couldn't time trial to save his life , but he'll put himself in the thick of it until he either makes it or dies (a horrible death metaphorically speaking hahah ) trying!!! I wish him well, we need someone like this to shake things up a bit , and Heaven knows we could learn a thing or 2 from the indomitable Kenyan spirit!
I would love to put Max King, but I honestly don't think he's taking the trials all that seriously. If he would put all of his eggs in this basket, I think we could see him in the hunt for 3rd, but he's been racing a lot of other stuff rather than training for the trials,. I imagine he'll run a 1-2 minute PR since Baltimore (his PR course) is such a slow course, but until he actually focuses 100% on road marathons, he's not going to be in the running for making the Olympic team.
I'm rooting for mother nature. Gonna be epic.

If for no other reason than to watch the LRC message board blow up.
On the men's side Rupp because I'd love to see a 10k/marathon double, and Canaday just because of the fact that he openly posts here.
Clara Grandt.
Almost forgot - Wardian.
Rupp will either not race the whole thing (do a workout) or win by over half a mile. Mr. Hall, as proven by his 4:17 road mile last year, has no turnover to speak of. Meb, as proven by his current sponsorship (am I the only one who didn't realize Sketchers had running shoes?) is nothing short of a joke.
Tera Moody and Galen Rupp.
Jason Hartmann...
Oly Trials top 3.
1. Hall
2. Ritz if he runs/Rupp if no Ritz
3. Rupp/Hartmann in a p.r.
Sage Canaday
Mike Sayenko.
Gonna make a bold, ridiculous statement here. Tera Moody will make the team. Yes, I'm a fan.
