It's the SloCon....
no wonder Danny Williamson is going to ETSU.
it's always ASUNnyer in Johnson City!
so this guy who will be our head cross country coach from North Florida is bringing his volunteer assistant Angela reckart
http://angreckart.blogspot.com/
to be his assitant distance coach. This is going to be a disaster. Not sure who is getting it worse us or the girls?
I can't wait to see who replaces Coach Clarke on the sprints side. My guess is someone no one has ever heard of and never coached in college.
At least I love Chapel Hill

im sure youre teammates at unc would be really happy to see you jumping ship before the season even starts. way to be loyal
Figure it out...
From what I hear phone interviews just started and they have a handfull of candidates at this point. Might not want to jump someones ass when that info is not proven yet. We've seen alot of assumptions go the other way on here the last few weeks....
So who are the finalist for the OSU women's distance position since Chris Neal left with Coach Gary?
LGC---Who did Coach Dennis bring on campus?
You sound like a typical knows-nothing-but-thinks-he-knows-everything-over-entitled college kid. If you really are a UNC soph, you should transfer instead of screw up the team.1) Your new head coach has multiple national championship rings as a long-time associate head coach. Think he maybe has an idea how to get the program to where it needs to be?2) What about the UNF coach's resume says he isn't fully qualified and can do a great job? Competitive experience, built his program from ground up, developed plenty of athletes. What in your vast experience do you think makes a good coach? That you and your 19 years of nothing have heard of him/her? How about you let Coach Meaders evaluate the qualifications of the staff and you shut up and do what you're told?A$$

With Siemers from Colorado School of Mines moving to CSU, and word on the void left at Mines? Has the Ore Digger's coaching position been posted yet?

Wait, Danny Williamson is the new head coach at East Tennessee State?
Danny Williamson confirmed as ETSU head coach. Wonder what approach Danny will take with ETSU's distance squad's?
Who takes over at Western for Danny. He's been there for years and is a master at doing something with nothing. Hard to imagine WCU without him
What's the update at UNC? Only 3 coaches listed with 3 left to hire. Who will get the final three?
Any update from Clemson? They advertised for sprints, hurdles, jumps. A lot of people have said it's hard to have control over your own events there and that it doesn't pay well. Feedback?
Unreal! I never thought the day I would see this.
Actually, Wendel left Illinois to become the Head Cross Country Coach for Northern Illinois womens team last summer, before bailing for Texas A&M before he even had the chance to meet the NIU team. He was on the NIU staff maybe 1 month before taking off.

You do know that Wendel left Illinois for Texas A & M. Not sure he'd want to come back unless they were interested in making him Head CC and Track.
I was thinking the same thing. But who knows, right?
Not sure about the Williamson news to ETSU, but who knows. I've heard the news of Williamson to etsu about three weeks ago, and it may be good for them. It would be a great loss for us over this way in NC though.

If danny is at etsu things will get interesting. They should be good
Where is Rock Light headed?
Heard Dion Miller received 20K pay raise due to the stellar
2012 season at TTU.
