Any word on the open distance position at Illinois and are there actually any serious candidates up for that position?

Yes, Darren Gauson, Butler, was on campus Sunday/Monday. If he leaves Butler, watch Butler go right down the drain.

Oklahoma's women's coach passed away. Unfortunate. He was a good man and good coach. Even had a drink with him once in Norman at O'Connell's. RIP Skip. Who will take over?

What's up with the non-distance positions @ UNC?
Heck who got the distance postion at UNC? no confirmed word yet or did i miss it?
The North Florida coach is reported to be distance coach at UNC now.
Other than that, I have not heard of any of the other event coaches being released from the old staff that are in need of replacing.
The new coach is a throws coach so he will probably take that job. But their other staff was pretty good.

So what can they possibly be looking for there? I know several very qualified individuals, including myself, who applied and did not get notice of an interview.
