So now that the new Purdue coach is in place, does anyone on the old staff stay or are all gone?
Nic Peterson of TCU on his way to Florida.
I agree, a great athlete... But ZERO coaching experience, especially for a top D-I program. I feel for all the qualified applicants who were passed over.
It's a recruiting position. I'm sure a lot of girls will be excited to hear from Nicole Blood. Have no idea whether she's exciting to speak to, but I do know plenty of "experienced" D1 coaches are terribly boring on the phone.
The rest of the compliance/administrative work that would need to be done is hardly rocket science.
Doubtful she'll give up an exciting PRO running career to do boring administrative, paper-pushing gig.
Didn't Dartmouth have a women's assistant position posted earlier this year? Who was hired? And what were they looking for? I could be mistaken...

Does Texas Tech have it narrowed down to just these two, or are there other coaches in the mix?

1. Doubt many girls actually know who Nicole Blood is. Girls don't pay attention to the sport that much.
2. There are plenty of experienced D1 coaches that ARE fun to talk to and over qualified that are passed up.
3. Rest of the work. hah, you'd be surprised how dumb some people are.
Just bring in someone who can do it all. Plenty of candidates out there.
Never ending story.
Female assistant gets the job all the men want. It's the song that never ends ... doo doo doot, it goes on and on again doo doo doot. Some people starting singing it blah blah blah ...
most of them quit or get burnt out, yea it sucks but lets get some good info up here, who is UNC hiring for assistants?
Reply: adam smith from unc was hired at dartmouth. congrats to him he will do great things up in hanover.

Does some one want to speak to the TCU assistant moving to florida rumor? I find that entirely hard to believe.
