As is the case with most people in his situation, Hartman was looking to move back up in the coaching world. UT Pan Am is just where he landed after his troubles at Georgia got him released. A place like UT Pan AM, while technically DI, is either a foot in the door kind of place for an upstart, or a place that a guy tumbles to after a fall from grace. Hartman has done his time in purgatory, and now he moves a little higher up to a bottom level mid-major type school. Good for him. Hopefully he will make the most of it and move back to the big time and get a T A&M/Georgia type program back under his control.

Ole Miss head track coach is gone.
What will happen at UNC now?
So does this mean that Joe III is the new head man at Louisville, or is Coach Walker(the dad) going to be a volunteer coach ?
Hear through the grapevine that Queens had some interviews recently but wasn't really sold on any one. Wondered if any one had heard anything. I'm not buying the NYU kid moving in as the head or the distance guy from App. State so try to come up with some credible information.
NYU Assistant or App State Assistant Coach? I heard they were leaving the staff as is at Queens with Kanyaruhuru and Ciara. Who interviewed??
March Madness....It's Awesome Baby!!!!!!!
San Jose State men's and women's cross country job is open. Program with a lot of tradition but has gone to the shithole lately. Word is that women's track program will be reinstated soon.
Notre Dame popped open- is that a new position?
Any word on if the San Jose State job is just going to Jeff...Augie's son?
SCSU needs a head women's XC/T&F coach. And that stands for Southern Connecticut State University, for the record.

Does it now?
www.scsu.eduThe mighty, mighty Bulldogs would tend to argue that point.
He is not interested in the head coach position and did not apply. Adding a distance only track program will help the women's team big time. The men will still be a poorly funded cross country only squad. Existing only to keep SJSU at the ncaa minimum for men's athletic teams.
I would guess that it is Sean Carlson's position, but not 100% sure.
Does anyone know their timetable for hiring? Since Cross Country is not until the fall it seems that there may not be any urgency in moving forward.

Anyone know what the pay range would be for something like this?
Trust me, there is a HUGE difference between the SCSU of the north, and the SCSU of the south. divisions aside, check the websites and youll see the northern school is far superior! There is also a St. Cloud State University in MN. lots of SCSUs out there. The REAL SCSU is in Connecticut!
Queens is down to two: ASU's Curcio and UNCC's Schlicter.
If the President doesn't like either, they'll go fish again. That's how it happened last time.
First round a bust... try again....
