For the record, the position at Canisius was filled by Nathan Huckle back in March. I believe his only other collegiate coaching experience was an a graduate assistant at Brockport some time ago, and he has spent the last several years coaching at the HS level in New York. That being said, he's already picked up a solid recruiting class for next Fall headlined by Cooper Roach (4:16/38th at NXN), Mike Anvelt (9:22/4th at NY Class B states) and Travis Jordon (6th at NY Class A states). It looks like a lot of the MAAC schools have made some good improvements recently. Rider, Fairfield, and Canisius should all be able to give Marist a tough fight for second behind Iona in the 2013 season.

This won't be a highly sought after position, I'd imagine, but Canisius' coach just resigned and they are beginning a national search. The position is posted on their web site...but it's part-time and they are a cross country only program, albeit a relatively successful one.
Also, Amherst College will be looking for a head women's cross country and track and field coach this spring, after going with an interim coach all year. Whoever lands there will have a lot of the resources (indoor facilities aside) to make that a consistently national-caliber program. The position should pay relatively well (at least for a coaching job).
