Sparks from SIUC will likely be hired by Bethea.
That is what I would think. Sparks started at Ohio State and he and Bethea know each other well. He is also a good coach and can develop talent.
Both are from Indiana.
Doesnt Ed need to be hired as Head Coach before he can hire anyone?
He was fired...
Eli Sunquist is taking over as Head.
Jeff Langdon (Belmont) is moving to Johnson City to take over the ailing distance program.
Dave Walker...it's about damn time you stepped down. Drove the program into the ground over the past 10 years
I received an e-mail today with an attached letter letting me know I would not be getting the Oshkosh positions. Funny thing is, the document was titled rejection letter! Is that no unprofessional or what??
Anyone know anything about the Lindenwood University job?
The dude that recruits kids from other universities? That'll work well....
Did any one even come to campus to interview? When did the men last win the Big 10 Championship?

Ed Bethea will be taking over at Ohio State. He has some distance scholarships left over thus it should be easy to find a distance Coach.
Sparks wont go back to OSU. He has another opportunity he will most likely be taking.
Not Jeff Langdon, rather Dave Milner (former Asst. Belmont) taking over the distance duties...
They haven't even finished looking at resumes yet at OSU. Chill out people.
Change coming at UCLA with Vaughn out as men's sprints coach. Not an attractive job like it used to be with difficult admissions standards and a head coach who expects sprinters to max out each week for dual meets.
Alum Ato Bolden is rumored to be considering the job.
Saw this morning that ECSU (Eastern Connecticut State University) hired Kathy Manizza from Hartford - http://www.littleeast.com/sports/wtrack/2012/releases/20120606-wtrack-manizza so Hartford might have an opening now.
Kind of old news but heard Millar let go of everyone on staff except Hunt.
Johnny Bomar Wofford College Head Coach - Former Head Coach at King College is rumored to be the Front Runner for this position. ETSU Adminstration knew him when he was and King and was very impressed with the product that he produced while at King College.

anything on the UNC head job?
Finalists seem to be two jumps coaches, one throws coach, and one distance coach. Four different conference affiliations. Will be interesting to see which direction they go.
Is former UCLA Coach Bob Larson meddling again! Larson made it a point in telling the new men's coach in the summer of 2009, who Mike M. could hire or the alum's money would be cut off to supplement the program's needs.
