it is pointless running M if your main event is 10k
that 1/2M was obviously run off 10k training & doesn't augur well for a M currently off 10k training
26'48 / 60'30 ->2"08'22
however, he had some uneven laps in that 10k & the initial 5k was too unambitious - i think he was capable of 26'40 that day with quicker initial 5k from wabbit, etc
call his 1/2M maybe 60-flat at the time ( likely best shape of his life that day in brussels )
26'40 / 60'00 ->2"06'57
his theoretical limit off 10k training is about 2"07-flat, but it's inconceivable his endurance extends "perfectly" to the M off just 10k training
something like 2"08/2"09 may be feasible currently
